Bhagat Singh is one of the Freedom fighters who is still popular among today’s youth it’s because of his futuristic thinking as well as the aggressive nature that he had. He had the guts in such a young age to make the deaf East India Company hear the message he wanted to portray.

The first movie that was made was Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh the movie was released in the year 1954the movie was directed by Jagdish Gautam and had Prem Abeed, Jairaj, Smriti Biswas and Ashita Mazumdar playing lead roles
Ten years later Shammi Kapoor appeared in the movie named Shaheed Bhagat Singh. The fiolm was directed by KN Bansal and besides Shammi Kapoor starred Shakeela, Premnath, Ulhas and Achla Sachdev
Then in 1965 yet another movie was there in which Manoj Kumar played the role of Bhagat Singh and Prem chopra played the role of Raj Guru
Then came the era when no one in the industry was interested in making the movies of these freedom fighters.
Then after a long time a director should some guts to do a movie which had Sonu Sood as the lead role of Bhagat singh but the movie didn’t get a good response. The name of the movie was Shaheed-E-Azam
Then two films released simultaneously on the same day The Legend of Bhagat Singh and Shaheed bHagat singh Prior featured Ajay devgan and in the latter Bobby Deol was playing the lead role of Bhgat Singh.
Then came the movie Rang De Basanti which was not a film based on freedom fighters but in the movie there was a lot to do for the actor who played Bhagat Singh Siddharth was the actor who played the role of Bhagat Singh in the movie.
